Terms of service
Last updated: 2 September 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Tezapsidis Jewellery website and the purchase of products through our online store.
By placing an order through our website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.
1. About Us
The website and online store are operated by:
Tezapsidis Jewellery
Mitropoleos 34
Thessaloniki, Greece
Email: info@tezapsidis.com
Throughout these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Tezapsidis Jewellery.
"You" and "customer" refer to the person purchasing products from our website.
2. Products
We sell jewellery and related products through our online store.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, materials, gemstones, colours and other information are accurate.
Minor variations may occur due to photography, screen settings, natural characteristics of materials and gemstones, or handmade production.
Such minor variations do not necessarily constitute a defect or lack of conformity.
3. Standard Jewellery
Standard Jewellery means a product purchased according to the specifications displayed on the relevant product page without customer-requested modifications or personalisation.
Eligible Standard Jewellery purchased online by EU consumers is generally subject to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal.
Further information is provided in our Returns & Refund Policy.
4. Bespoke & Personalised Jewellery
A product becomes a **Bespoke / Personalised Order** when it is made according to the customer's specific requirements or is clearly personalised.
This includes, without limitation:
* Engraving;
* Changing the metal from the standard specification;
* Changing metal colour;
* Changing metal purity;
* Changing or selecting a different gemstone;
* Changing dimensions or proportions;
* Changing the shape, structure or components;
* Combining different customer-requested modifications;
* Creating jewellery based on a customer-specific brief.
Change of Metal
Changing the metal of a standard design at the customer's request is considered a Bespoke modification.
For example, if a product is displayed in silver and the customer requests the same design in 18K yellow gold, the resulting order is treated as a Bespoke Order.
The same applies where a customer requests a combination of changes, such as a different metal, gemstone, dimensions and engraving.
5. Engraving
Adding an engraving to a jewellery item constitutes a personalisation of the product.
Customers must carefully review all engraving details before submitting the order, including spelling, names, initials, dates, numbers and punctuation.
We are not responsible for errors in engraving information supplied or approved by the customer, except where the error is attributable to us.
6. Customer Specifications
For Bespoke / Personalised Orders, the customer is responsible for providing accurate specifications and information.
Where we provide a design, specification or confirmation for approval, the customer is responsible for reviewing it carefully before production begins.
Once the customer has approved the final specifications, production may begin.
Once production has begun, Bespoke / Personalised Orders generally cannot be cancelled due to a change of mind, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
This includes orders involving:
* Custom metal selection;
* Custom gemstone selection;
* Custom dimensions;
* Structural modifications;
* Engraving;
* Personalised text;
* Other customer-specific modifications.
This does not affect statutory rights relating to defective, incorrectly supplied or non-conforming products.
8. Returns & Right of Withdrawal
Eligible Standard Jewellery purchased online by consumers in the European Union is generally subject to a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal.
Bespoke / Personalised Orders made according to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised are generally excluded from this statutory right, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
The customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning eligible Standard Jewellery.
For full details, please see our Returns & Refund Policy.
9. Defective or Incorrect Products
If a product is defective, damaged due to our responsibility, incorrectly manufactured or does not correspond to the agreed specifications, please contact us at:
We will assess the issue and provide the remedy required under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms limits statutory consumer rights.
10. Legal Guarantee
Consumers within the European Union have statutory rights relating to the conformity of goods.
For new goods, EU consumer law provides a minimum two-year legal guarantee of conformity.
These statutory rights apply independently of any voluntary warranty we may offer.
11. Jewellery Care
Jewellery should be handled and stored appropriately.
Unless otherwise stated for a particular product, we recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to:
* Water;
* Sea water;
* Swimming pools;
* Chlorine;
* Perfume;
* Cosmetics;
* Lotions;
* Cleaning products;
* Harsh chemicals.
Jewellery should be stored in a dry environment and preferably separately from other jewellery.
Normal wear and tear, scratches, oxidation, tarnishing or discolouration resulting from the natural characteristics of a material or improper care do not automatically constitute a manufacturing defect.
Nothing in this section limits mandatory statutory rights.
12. Orders & Acceptance
When you place an order, you are submitting an offer to purchase the selected products.
You will normally receive an order confirmation by email.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where, for example:

Orders will normally be processed after successful payment.
Payment information may be processed by third-party payment providers. We do not intentionally store full payment card details on our own systems where such information is processed by the payment provider.

16. Delivery
Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise.
For EU consumer purchases, where we arrange delivery, responsibility for the goods generally remains with us until the goods are delivered to you or to a person designated by you, as applicable under law.

We will make reasonable efforts to investigate the issue with the relevant carrier.
17. International Orders
Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to import duties, customs charges, VAT, taxes or carrier handling fees.
Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, such charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Customs charges are determined by the destination country and are outside our control.
18. Incorrect Delivery Information
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
If you discover an error in your address, please contact us immediately.
We will make reasonable efforts to correct the address before dispatch, but changes may not be possible once an order has entered the shipping process.
If an order is returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer, additional shipping costs for re-delivery may be charged to the customer, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
19. Lost or Delayed Parcels
If tracking indicates that a parcel is delayed or appears to be lost, please contact us.
We may contact the relevant carrier and investigate the shipment.
Where a parcel is confirmed as lost and a remedy is required under applicable law, we will provide the appropriate remedy.

Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights.
24. Events Beyond Our Reasonable Control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, war, government restrictions, strikes, customs disruptions, carrier disruptions, technical failures or other circumstances that could not reasonably have been prevented.
We will make reasonable efforts to minimise the impact of such events.
25. Complaints

Please include your order number and a description of the issue.
We will make reasonable efforts to resolve complaints fairly and promptly.
26. Applicable Law & Consumer Rights
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Tezapsidis Jewellery in Greece, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply to customers in other jurisdictions.
