The most popularly fancy diamond shapes used for jewellery and engagement rings are princess, cushion, oval, emerald, pear, marquise, radiant, square radiant, Asscher, heart and trillion.

Undoubtedly, the most important factor behind a diamond's sparkle is the cut quality, but colour and clarity grades also matter a lot.
