Refund policy

Last updated: 2 September 2026

At Tezapsidis Jewellery, we want you to be happy with your purchase. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

Our return policy distinguishes between Standard Jewellery and Bespoke / Personalised Jewellery.

1. Standard Jewellery

Standard Jewellery refers to products purchased exactly as presented on our website, without any customer-requested modification or personalisation.

For eligible Standard Jewellery purchased online by consumers in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within **14 calendar days from the date you receive the goods**, without providing a reason.

If you wish to exercise this right, you must notify us within the applicable 14-day period by contacting:

**Email: info@tezapsidis.com

After notifying us, you must return the product without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which you notified us of your decision to withdraw.

Return shipping costs

The customer is responsible for all direct costs of returning the product.

This includes return postage, courier fees, packaging and other direct costs associated with returning the product.

We do not provide free return shipping for change-of-mind returns.

We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service.

2. Bespoke & Personalised Jewellery

A product will be considered a Bespoke / Personalised Order when it is made according to the customer's specific requirements or is clearly personalised.

This may include, but is not limited to:

* Adding an engraving;

* Changing the metal from the standard product specification;

* Changing the metal colour or purity;

* Changing the gemstone;

* Selecting a different gemstone;

* Changing the size, proportions or dimensions of the design at the customer's request;

* Modifying the structure, shape or components of a design;

* Combining multiple customer-requested modifications;

* Creating a piece based on an individual customer brief;

* Any other modification that changes the standard specifications of the product at the customer's request.

For example, if a customer selects an existing design and requests the same design in gold instead of silver, this order will be treated as a Bespoke Order.

Similarly, a request such as gold instead of silver + ruby instead of the standard gemstone + a narrower base + engraving will be treated as a Bespoke / Personalised Order.

Where a product is made according to the customer's specifications or is clearly personalised, it is generally excluded from the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal applicable to EU distance purchases, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Important

Bespoke / Personalised Orders cannot be cancelled or returned due to a change of mind once production has begun, except where a cancellation or return is required by applicable law.

This does not affect your statutory rights if the product is defective, damaged due to our responsibility, incorrectly supplied or otherwise does not conform to the contract.

3. Customer Approval of Bespoke Orders

Before production begins, we may confirm the requested specifications with you.

You are responsible for carefully checking all details provided for a Bespoke / Personalised Order, including:

* Metal;

* Metal colour;

* Metal purity;

* Gemstone;

* Gemstone colour;

* Size;

* Dimensions;

* Engraving;

* Names;

* Initials;

* Dates;

* Text;

* Other personalised specifications.

Once you approve the specifications, production may begin.

We are not responsible for errors in specifications, measurements, names, dates, text or other information supplied or approved by the customer, except where the error is attributable to us.

4. Standard Jewellery – Condition of Returned Items

Any eligible Standard Jewellery returned under the statutory right of withdrawal must be in a condition that allows us to determine its nature, characteristics and functioning.

The product should not have been worn or used beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it.

Where applicable, the item should be returned with its original packaging and any accompanying materials.

If the product has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it and its value has consequently decreased, we may make a deduction from the refund to the extent permitted by applicable law.

5. Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Products

The exclusion of returns for Bespoke / Personalised Orders does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

If your jewellery arrives:

* Defective;

* Damaged due to our responsibility;

* Incorrectly manufactured;

* Different from the specifications agreed with you; or

* Different from the product you ordered,

please contact us at:

info@tezapsidis.com

Please provide your order number and clear photographs where appropriate.

We will assess the issue and provide the appropriate remedy required by applicable law.

Where a product is confirmed to be defective, incorrectly supplied or otherwise our responsibility, we will cover the reasonable return shipping costs where required by applicable law.

6. Refunds

For eligible Standard Jewellery returns, we will process refunds in accordance with applicable law.

For EU consumers exercising the statutory right of withdrawal, refunds will normally be issued within 14 days of receiving notification of the withdrawal.

Where permitted by law, we may withhold the refund until we receive the returned goods or until you provide evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction.

For eligible EU returns, we will refund the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered at the time of purchase.

Any additional amount paid for express or upgraded delivery is not refundable where permitted by law.

Return shipping costs paid by the customer are not refundable, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

7. Greece

Customers in Greece may return eligible Standard Jewellery within the applicable 14-day withdrawal period.

The customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the product.

Bespoke / Personalised Orders, including qualifying engraved products and products modified at the customer's request, are generally not eligible for return due to change of mind, subject to statutory rights.

8. European Union

Consumers in the European Union may exercise the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for eligible Standard Jewellery purchased online.

The 14-day period begins when the goods are delivered.

The customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the product.

Bespoke / Personalised Orders made according to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised are generally excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights applicable in the customer's country.

9. Rest of the World

For customers outside the European Union, cancellation and return rights may vary according to local law.

Unless mandatory local law provides otherwise, we accept returns of eligible Standard Jewellery subject to this policy.

The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, customs charges, duties, taxes and other costs associated with returning an item.

Bespoke / Personalised Orders are not eligible for return due to change of mind unless mandatory applicable law provides otherwise.

10. Customs & International Returns

For orders outside the European Union, customers may be responsible for import duties, customs charges, taxes, VAT and carrier handling fees.

If an international parcel is returned because the customer refuses delivery, refuses to pay applicable customs charges, or fails to collect the parcel, reasonable costs incurred by Tezapsidis Jewellery may be deducted from any applicable refund to the extent permitted by law.

11. Exchanges

Exchanges are not guaranteed and are subject to product availability.

Where an exchange is accepted for an eligible Standard Jewellery item, the customer is responsible for applicable return and reshipping costs unless the product is defective or incorrectly supplied.

Bespoke / Personalised Orders are not eligible for exchange due to change of mind, subject to mandatory statutory rights.

13. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or waive any mandatory consumer rights applicable to you under the laws of your country.
